Radar Vienna Awards Winners

Jury statement: We feel we are floating in another dimension. mysteriously playful in the textural quality and thoughtful colors and sounds that arrange themselves into characters and dissolve into abstractions. This is a film that is a true pleasure to watch.

Jury statement: A fragmented human being, precisely captured in different scenarios: lost in abandoned spaces and clean urban or technologic environments, trying to maintain control over their surroundings, but constantly being disrupted in this fatal out-of-balance interconnection between her fractured self, a few remains of nature, dystopian architecture and embodied technology.
The director of this hybrid short film tells her abstracted story about body, space and identity with sophisticated live-action dance loops, a dark and massive soundtrack, precise video- and audio editing and organic abstract animation.

Jury statement: Mycelia networks are after us! Inspired by disaster movies, the young film team shows us a fast-paced, funny and witty film with impressive production quality.

Jury statement: The presentation was clearly structured, emphasising the visibility of the care work. It was in a conceptual stage but still presented as a clear idea and was able to raise our interest in the topic and the realisation.

Sielecki statement: Abstractly painted compositions move with colored dots, lines and surfaces, fill up and surprisingly become city forms, walls, forests and high mountains. The author draws, animates and paints himself, has retained his style for years, makes music and sets his films to music with his own band, resulting in an animated masterpiece.
