Telemach Wiesinger

Telemach Wiesinger

PRESENTATION: FRIDAY – 21 April, 2023, 11:45 @ University of Applied Arts Vienna

This twenty-minute presentation covers the dregs, so to speak, giving an insight “behind the scenes” and about my thoughts that underpin and motivate my always analogue 16mm Expanded Cinema performances.

The presentation includes a short example of an analogue 16mm multiple projection, in whose inherent content the reference to the recording and reproduction medium is also conveyed. This also reveals the direct inseparability that connects me in my attitude, as in my acting, with the silver image.

The lecture concludes with a surprising further aspect, which certainly only few artists who use the digital medium are aware of.
